Taper Pointed Air Rods
The air termination network forms the primary point of contact for lightning strikes within the protection system. These systems can be configured with or without multi-point air terminals. However, research and field studies indicate that multiple-point taper air rods provide more effective lightning interception than conventional single taper rods.
The taper pointed air rods lightning arrester feature a precision taper of less than 5 degrees on one end, ensuring a secure fit with multi-point assemblies. The opposite end is threaded for easy integration with terminal bases, flat saddles, ridge saddles, air rod bases, rod brackets, and air rod couplings.
