Conventional Lightning Protection System

Air Terminal Base – Tape
These are used for fixing air rods onto flat roof surfaces and to accommodate tape for the protection system. The threads are suitable for air rods.

Flat Saddle – Type C
These are used for fixing air rods onto flat roof surfaces and to accommodate circular conductors and cables to the protection system. The threads are suitable for air rods.

Air Rod Base – Cable
These are used for fixing air rods horizontally or vertically and to accommodate circular conductors and cables to the protection system. The threads are suitable for air rods.

Tape Clip
These are used to flush the tape with the building surface. These are fixed using two screws and plugs. They provide a neat and secure installation, preventing tape movement.

Air Rod to Tape/Cable Coupling
These are used in conjunction with rod brackets. The air rod is screwed into the threads provided and the tape and cable are secured by the bolts provided. The threads are suitable for air rods.

Square Tape Clamp
Square tape/junction clamps are used for crossing over tapes, T-joints, or making straight-through joints in a network of tapes.
These clamps can be fastened to the building using recommended CSK wood screws (1½” x No.10 plugs).

Long Test or Junction Clamp
Oblong test/junction clamps are used for straight-through tape joints. They are also used for disconnecting the earthing or lightning protection system for testing purposes. The tapes can be overlapped and secured by two bolts

Rod Brackets – Side Mounting Brackets
Rod brackets are mainly used where it is not possible to fit a saddle on the roof. The air rod is fitted on the wall or the side of the building or chimney. The rod-to-tape/cable coupling is used to secure air terminal to tape or cable.

DC Tape Clip
Metallic DC clips are used to secure the flat conductor to the building. It is recommended to use DC clips at 1 meter distance. The tape fits into the clip and is secured by two countersunk screws. These clips can be fastened to the building using recommended CSK wood screws (1½” x No.10 plugs).
ACCESSORIES
Our earthing accessories are engineered for reliable grounding and enhanced electrical safety. Made from durable, high-conductivity materials, they ensure stable performance, corrosion resistance, and long-term system protection
Copper Boned Earth - Rods

Rod to Cable Clamp – Type ‘G’
These clamps are used for joining earth rods to copper cables. They ensure a strong, low-resistance electrical connection for effective grounding.

Rod to Tape Clamp – Type ‘E2’
These clamps are used to connect tape to the earth rod. This clamp is provided with an additional plate to fix the tape in a vertical position.

Coupler Heavy Duty
These couplers are made of high-grade material for higher strength with a counterbore for protecting the rod threads from damage

Earth Bars and Disconnecting Links
Earth bars are an efficient and convenient solution for providing a common earth point to connect to the main earthing system. Integral disconnecting links are provided for isolation at the time of testing. These earth bars come in a variety of specifications and sizes to suit different applications.

Rod to Tape Clamp – Type ‘A’
A variety of earth rod clamps suitable for different applications. Conductivity, mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance are important considerations in clamp design to ensure an effective earthing system. All clamps are made of high-strength copper alloy bodies and screws of aluminum bronze, phosphor bronze, or stainless steel.
